Scan badges and cards straight into HubSpot.
Install the Swopi app on your iPhone or Android phone and connect HubSpot once in the Swopi dashboard. Then scan a business card, an event badge or a QR code. Swopi AI reads it, adds verified email, phone and company data, and creates the HubSpot contact in seconds, with the event name attached. You type nothing.
How to connect HubSpot
- Step 1
Connect HubSpot
In the Swopi dashboard, open Integrations and sign in with your HubSpot account. You do this once.
- Step 2
Turn on automatic sync
Choose where new leads go and switch on automatic sync. From now on, every lead your team captures is sent to HubSpot without a click.
- Step 3
Scan at the event
Open the Swopi app and scan a badge, a paper card in any language or a QR code. You do not need the organiser's rented scanner.
- Step 4
Let Swopi AI add the missing data
Swopi AI adds verified business email, direct phone, job title, seniority, LinkedIn and company data. It checks a waterfall of 20+ data providers and official business registries. It does not guess.
- Step 5
Open the contact in HubSpot
The contact is in HubSpot in seconds, in native properties, with the event name. Swopi AI can also draft a personal follow-up email for it.

What HubSpot does on its own
HubSpot has a free business card scanner in its mobile app for iOS and Android (HubSpot business card scanner). It reads a card and fills contact properties such as name, email, job title and phone, and it does not work on iPad (HubSpot Knowledge Base). For a few cards after a meeting, it does the job well. HubSpot's pages do not describe event badge scanning or adding data from outside sources.
Why teams add Swopi
- Badges, not only cards: scan the printed name or the QR code on any event badge, without renting the organiser's scanner.
- Full records, not a photo of a card: verified email, direct phone, seniority and company data from 20+ data providers and official registries.
- Follow-up already drafted: Swopi AI writes a personal email for each lead, based on your notes, the company and the event.
- EU data and 32 languages: lead data is hosted in the EU under GDPR with a DPA, and the app works in 32 languages for international teams.
Swopi and HubSpot: common questions
Does HubSpot have a business card scanner?
Yes. The HubSpot mobile app for iOS and Android can scan a business card and create a contact. It is free. It does not work on iPad, and HubSpot's pages describe business cards, not event badges.
Can I scan trade show badges into HubSpot?
Yes, with Swopi. The Swopi app reads the printed name and company or the QR code on a badge, adds verified data and sends the contact to HubSpot. See the badge scanner.
Which HubSpot properties does Swopi fill?
Standard contact properties such as first name, last name, email, phone number, job title and company name, plus company details. Data without a standard property, like the event name or the intent score, goes into a note on the contact.
Where is my lead data stored?
Swopi hosts data in the EU and works under GDPR. A DPA is available. Read more on the security page.
What does the HubSpot integration cost?
CRM sync is part of the Pro plan (€6.99/month) and higher. Swopi AI enrichment and follow-ups are in Event Intelligence (€18.99/month). Teams is €6.99 per user/month. Paid plans have a 14-day free trial. See pricing.
