Questions about NFC business cards
What is an NFC business card?
A business card with a small NFC chip inside. Hold it to a phone and your digital business card opens, with your contact details, links and files. The other person needs no app.
Does an NFC business card work with iPhone and Android?
Yes. Most iPhones and Android phones from recent years read NFC. For phones that do not, every Swopi card has a QR code that opens the same profile.
Can I put my company logo on the card?
Yes. Pick PVC, basswood or steel and upload your logo. We email you a proof and make the card only after you approve it, about 3 weeks later.
Can I change my details after I order?
Yes. The card links to your Swopi profile. Change your details in the Swopi app, and every card you already gave out shows the new ones.
Do you ship to my country?
We ship worldwide from Europe. Delivery is €6 in Europe and €9 to the rest of the world, and free on orders from €35.
How much does an NFC business card cost?
A wooden NFC business card costs €22, a metal one in matte black steel €39. A custom NFC business card with your logo starts at €49. Packs of 3 and 5 cards save up to 30%.
Which materials can I choose?
Basswood for an eco card, matte black stainless steel for a metal business card, printed PVC for custom cards, and a limited 24k gold edition. Every card has NFC and a QR code.
Do I need an app to use a smart business card?
You set up your profile once in the free Swopi app. The people you meet need no app: your profile opens in their phone browser, and they save your contact in one tap.
What is the difference between a digital business card and an NFC card?
Your digital business card is your Swopi profile: contact details, links and files that you can share by QR code, link, Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. The NFC card is a physical card that opens the same profile with one tap.
Does the card need charging or a battery?
No. NFC cards, tags and wristbands get their power from the phone that reads them, so they never need charging.
What do people see when they tap my card?
They see your Swopi profile. You choose what is on it, and you can change it in the app at any time. The card itself stays the same.
In which languages does my profile open?
In 32 languages. Your Swopi profile opens in the language of the person who taps your card, so it works at events anywhere in the world.
How do I order NFC business cards for my whole team?
Email info@swopi.co or book a call. We make custom cards with your company logo for the whole team, and you manage every profile from one dashboard.
