Scan cards and badges into Salesforce, no typing.

Connect Salesforce once in the Swopi dashboard and choose Lead or Contact. Then scan a business card, an event badge or a QR code with the Swopi app on iPhone or Android. Swopi AI adds verified email, phone and company data, and the record appears in Salesforce in seconds, in standard fields, with the event name.

What Salesforce does on its own

Salesforce says it does not have built-in support for scanning business cards, and it points users to third party apps on AppExchange or to a CSV import (Salesforce Help). AppExchange lists many scanner apps, some of them also for event badges (AppExchange search). So for Salesforce, the choice is always a partner app.

Why teams add Swopi

  • One app for badges, cards and QR codes: sales reps scan whatever is in front of them, without the organiser's rented scanner.
  • Leads that are ready to work: Swopi AI adds verified email, direct phone, seniority and company data, checked against official business registries, not guessed.
  • Booth manager view: in Event Mode the manager sees every lead live, per person, with hot leads first.
  • Enterprise ready: data hosted in the EU, GDPR, DPA, and SSO with Microsoft Entra ID and SCIM on Teams.
Questions

Swopi and Salesforce: common questions

Does Salesforce have a business card scanner?

Not a built-in one. Salesforce's own help page says it does not support scanning business cards directly and suggests AppExchange apps or a CSV import.

What is the best business card scanner for Salesforce?

It depends on how you meet people. If you only scan a few cards, many AppExchange apps will do. If you meet people at trade shows, look for badge scanning, data enrichment and a native sync. We compare options in best business card scanner apps.

Can Swopi create Leads and Contacts in Salesforce?

Yes. You choose Lead or Contact when you connect Salesforce. Swopi fills standard fields like First Name, Last Name, Email, Phone, Title and Company.

Is Swopi a lead capture app for Salesforce at events?

Yes. Your team scans badges and cards at the booth, Swopi AI completes each record, and the lead reaches Salesforce with the event name. See Swopi for events.

Can we use single sign-on?

Yes. The Teams plan supports SSO with Microsoft Entra ID and SCIM. For large rollouts, see Swopi for enterprise.
