How to get more from your stand at GITEX Global

  • Plan for a new venue and a four day expo

    The expo runs from 8 to 11 December at Expo City Dubai, and 7 December is a summit day. The summit is a conference day, so plan your full stand team for the four expo days and treat the summit as a smaller, talk based day.

  • Expect visitors from very many countries

    GITEX said 180 countries took part in 2025. Business cards will come in many languages and scripts. A scanner that reads a paper card in any language, like the Swopi card scanner, saves you from typing names you cannot spell.

  • Tag startups, investors and buyers differently

    The 2025 edition counted 2,000 startups and 1,200 investors next to 6,800 exhibitors (GITEX). An investor, a startup founder and a buyer need three different follow-up emails, so add a one word tag at the moment you scan.

  • Use the time difference in your favour

    Dubai is on UTC+4 all year and has no daylight saving. In December it is three hours ahead of Central Europe. Schedule your follow-up emails so they arrive in the morning of the reader's time zone, not yours.

  • Follow up before the year end
